Attorneys and law students are needed to volunteer at APABA's Free Legal Clinic at Benefits in Action in Lakewood on Oct. 1 (9:00 - noon*). 

Benefits in Action is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our diverse community with a focus on the elderly and underserved to improve their understanding, access, and utilization of food- and health-related benefits to enhance food security, health, and well-being. Attorneys with these specializations/expertise are needed in particular:

• Estate planning
• Family law
• Immigration
• Consumer fraud
• Landlord/tenant

*Volunteers will be paired with a clinic participant(s) to provide general legal information in the above areas of law. You will be given a time slot from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. to meet with a participant(s).
